Monasterio de Sta. Clara

As much as I wanted to stay away from the internet, I just can’t do it! I still allot a time for studying though cuz it’s my priority and I usually have leisure time at the end of a review session and that’s when I usually surf the internet, mostly using my phone cuz it’s more convenient that way. Let’s face it, surfing the internet is a bad habit that I should get rid of, but like most of the steroids, it should not be stopped abruptly. I am trying my best to completely abstain from it though most especially I have less than a month to prepare for the board exam. I stopped counting the days left actually because it just scares the shit out of me! Waaaaaaa!!!

Okay back to what I am supposed to tell, during one of our half days at the review, my friends decided to went to St. Clare Monastery at Katipunan to pray and send our wishes for the incoming board exam. We brought our car but left it at Trinoma just because we don’t know the way and for some other reasons. Here’s the complete details of what happened that day in bullets!

• I didn’t go to review because I had a bad headache as I was about to leave the house so I decided to just stay and rest.
• I decided to prepare by past 12:00 pm then boyfriend fetched me.
• Had our lunch at Max’s on NLEX.

• Then off to Trinoma to meet a friend of our friend (?) lols what. Hahahaha
• Then rode MRT till Araneta Cubao Station.
• And then we walked going to the LRT, rode it till Katipunan. And then it started to rain :( we should have just brought the car with us, what a hassle.
• We started walking going to the Monastery even if it’s still raining hard! Ekkk very inappropriate to my outfit. I should’ve known lol. I am wearing a sheer dress btw and I get really soaked so yup, good thing I have an inner!
• We bought eggs on our way! I still find it to be funny but eggs are usually offered in there, read related article here.
• The moment I entered the Monastery, I wished for the rain to stop, little did I know that St. Clare is the Patron Saint for Good Weather.

Hiastus!

As a preparation for the Board Examination and to be focused to our Review classes, this will probably my last post for my blog. I know, that’s just sad not to be able to blog for more than a month! But i just have to do it because I don’t want to get distracted, anyways I have all the time in my life to blog about everything under the sun right after the boards! I will get you all updated after boards what will happen though. I also thought of asking my boyfriend to change the password of our router so that I will not be able to access the internet while reviewing! What do you think?!

NLE 2012.

I am finally registered for the Nursing Licensure Examination this July 2012! Let me just scream, waaaaa!!!! Requirements were given at school yesterday and everything is a mess let me just put it in bullets! :)

• Our review schedule was changed upon our request. Ahhh… SRG loves us! :)
• We were at school by 1:00 pm to get the TOR, RLE and our cases.
• We were able to get our TOR at the SRMD.
• We proceed to the Nursing Office thinking that we will just be picking the other requirements because it has been sitting there for… uhh weeks?!
• But surprise surprise… not all cases were signed by… you guess who? Our Program Head. And she wasn’t even there yet that we have to wait for her to have our cases signed.
• I was agitated and tired from the stress thinking that we couldn’t even make it tomorrow for the filing!
• But she arrived and signed the documents, and I went to the office immediately and ask her to sign ours! Hahaha
• We had our cases notarized! Yup, that’s necessary.

Not a distraction anymore.

Since I was on hiastus last time because of the lack of Internet Connection, I never had that feel that I can’t live without a connection or that my life depends on my social life and that that’s all that I could do. I sometimes find myself cleaning my room or doing some other productive things than surfing the net. I also got bored with the usual things that makes me busy aka my Bakery Story and Smurfs’ Village that’s why I uninstalled it already. I was never really that active on Twitter anymore and I didn’t post anything sensible on my blog. Did I just get over the obsession with my social networking sites and finally having fun on the life out of it? Well, I don’t think so, it’s just that maybe, just maybe I was used to not having them for a long time and that I don’t look for it anymore.

Hahahaha what’s with this speech, the point is that I can now survive without internet connection, that’s one big step if I wanted to Top the Board Exam- get rid of the distractions. Way to go Cherry!

Review Diaries Week 3.

Tomorrow will be the 3rd week since the start of our Review classes and let me just say something, okay out of 200 students from our block, I ranked 6th among them all! Bragging aside but I am just the happiest, well not really though but that’s just rewarding and definitely boost my self-esteem! That was by the way from all the post test we had since the pre-diagnostic examination! That came by because surprise I wasn’t even expecting something like that ha ha ha.

I found it out by a family friend which happens to be my blockmate, I was on the table signing for the attendance and then she hit me on the back and said, “Congrats Top 6!” and I was just like “What the asdfghjkl are you talking about?! Top 6 my ass!” I didn’t say that though Hahahaha I gave her a puzzled look and she led me to the list of the Top 10 students of our Block! And… I saw my name! And I also realized that my middle name was exposed to everyone… huhuhu okay I would let it pass!!!
